This annual retreat is held at a charming villa nestled in the rolling Chianti hills of Tuscany,Italy1 amidst the smells of newly harvested grapes, the tastes of Italy's finest foods, and a view that belongs on canvas.It is an extraordinary opportunity to study with an international team of senior teachers from the Alexander Alliance, who together, offer a full and varied complement of teaching styles and expertise.

italy 2This workshop is open to all interested, from those looking for a first taste of this rich work, to those who are already teaching and are looking to complement their skills. There will be graduate classes on teaching in groups, teaching through activities, and expanding our hand skills, as well as multiple classes exploring the central ideas of Alexander's work through a wide range of activities.

Each day also offers opportunities for complementary activities, such as tai chi, dance, music, walks, swimming, performances, and enjoying the landscape and each other.
