REDISCOVERING CHOICE
Personal Use of the Alexander Principles
A new approach to studying the principles of FM Alexander, Redicovering Choice is a two year personal growth program consisting of six 20 hour events over a two-year period.
Rediscovering Choice is geared towards people who are intrigued by Alexander’s Work and want to embody it more deeply in their own lives without entering a formal Alexander Teacher Training. It is also appropriate for those considering Teacher Training, but who are not ready to commit to the full training. Course content includes: developing sensitive, educated touch; exploration of personal use issues; sensory awareness skills; and the ability to rediscover choice in your use.
Rediscovering Choice classes are taught concurrently with portions of some AASW/NW Alexander Technique Training Events. Upon completion of the 2 year course, students who decide to continue into the AASW/NW Teacher Training Program can count it towards their first year of study.
The fee for Rediscovering Choice is $5000.00 for the full two-year program.
